ABOUT GMC
PAMPANGA DOCTORS MEDICAL CENTER, INC. is operated under the trade name of GREENCITY MEDICAL CENTER. It is a registered private corporation at the Securities of Exchange and Commission and was able to obtain a permit to construct a 100-bed capacity and be classified as a level 2 hospital from the Department of Health. The hospital has a combined workforce of about 250 and has 220 affiliated physicians encompassing all fields of specialty. It is strategically located along MacArthur Highway, Barangay Dolores, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
Being one of the first few solar-powered hospitals in Central Luzon, Greencity Medical Center is at the forefront of environmentally-conscious healthcare. It boasts of having a sewage treatment plant, pursues paperless transactions and utilized a built-in oxygen generator. All of these are measures to minimize carbon footprint.
HISTORY
There will come a time when minds will meet, bold decisions will be made, and actions will be put into place regardless of the obstacles.
The date was 2015 when a group of spirited clinicians banded to make a change in the landscape of healthcare, thus, GREENCITY MEDICAL CENTER (GMC) was born. The primary intention was to provide a medical facility that would set the bar of healthcare in Central Luzon and be at par with the best medical centers in Manila. Pampanga Doctors Medical Center, Inc (PDMCI), the corporate arm of GMC, laid the plans of a technologically advanced and environmentally conscious hospital. With persistence and faith in God, all went into full swing after the well celebrated groundbreaking last Dec 8, 2016. The rest is history.
